This Valentine’s week we are celebrating the language of love, the kind of love found in the small meaningful actions that bring kindness to life.
At Ladles of Love, LOVE is not just a word but a feeling experienced in doing what we do. When love is a verb it’s different, it is feeding the soul. When you volunteer with us, you feel it, when you sponsor a child monthly you feel it, when you talk about us and share our impactful stories, you feel it.
Today, we invite you to join us in an act of love that takes only a few minutes, yet makes a life changing difference for the little ones in our preschool nutrition programme.
Many of our supporters shop at Woolworths, but are not aware that that the old MySchool card has been replaced with the new Woolworths My Difference loyalty card. Plus, the fact that it must be re-activated and aligned to a cause of your choice. Woolworths then donates a percentage of what you spend to the charity selected. It costs you nothing extra – not even a cent but you will make the world of difference.
Here is how to share the love with Ladles of Love, in just a few minutes:
1. Open the Woolworths app, from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Log in or create your profile.
3. Tap the ‘Loyalty’ tab.
4. Activate your ‘My Difference’ card.
5. Scroll to Causes and select ‘Choose my own’.
6. Search for Ladles of Love and tap ‘Add Cause’.
Once activated simply scan your virtual card when you shop in store or ensure you are logged in when shopping online. Woolworths takes care of the rest by donating a percentage of what you spend directly to Ladles of Love.
To give you an idea of the impact you will make. When you choose Ladles of Love as your ‘My Difference’ cause, you are showing love in its most powerful form – through supporting small children’s education with good nutrition. This this kind of love gives little learners in need, the chance to flourish, learn and grow – giving them the best shot at realising their dreams.
