Our phones are ringing and our emails pinging as the bookings come in for groups of people who feel the calling to roll up their sleeves and give us a hand. Never have we needed nation-building events as much as we need them in South Africa right now.
International Nelson Mandela Day is a day dedicated to conflict resolution, human rights, reconciliation, and social justice. To honour the legacy and values of Mandela, we are hosting events at DHL Stadium (17 July) and Johannesburg EXPO Centre (22 July) to provide a platform to respond to the global call to action to spend 67 minutes doing something good for others. This represents the 67 years Mandela devoted to public service and fighting for human rights.
Our events embody the spirit of Mandela Day as they provide a ‘hands-on’ experience to do 67-minutes and change the lives of small children in our country by tackling food security and supporting education.
This year, recognising the need to provide everyone, anywhere in South Africa the opportunity to do 67-minutes, we have produced ‘Hands-On Hero’ kits enabling groups to ‘Create Your Own’ Event. Our team is on standby to pack your orders and courier them to you providing no reason why your business or family should feel left out.
