As we approach the end of our fiscal year and the SARS 18A tax season, I want to personally reach out and share why this moment is so important for Ladles of Love.

This is the time of year when your donations can offer you a meaningful tax benefit, and make a direct, measurable difference to the small children we nourish every day.

In 2026 our impact will be bigger than ever as we are expanding our Nourish Our Children programme to 20,000 preschool children, along with their teachers, carers, and principals. Feeding this growing community requires far more than food, it requires training, monitoring, safety, staffing, warehousing, petrol, packaging, and the systems that ensure every child receives the right nutritious meals daily.

To be transparent with you, here is exactly where we need support right now:

• Monitoring & Evaluation: Growing from R600,000 to R1 million as we double the number of children we support and increase our training workshops.
• Rent & Warehousing: Rising from R1.4 million to R2 million, especially as we expand our operation in Gauteng.
• Food Purchases: Increasing from R6 million to R7.5 million to roll out our early childhood development nutrition plan to 20,000 little learners.
• Employment: An additional R1 million to support new staff, including a fundraiser to build partnerships in Gauteng.
• Operational Costs: Petrol, packaging and bank charges continue to grow as we scale.

Every rand you donate this month and every 18A certificate we issue will enable us to meet these essential needs and the impact on women and small children in underserved communities, we know will be life-changing.

If you are able to make a tax‑deductible contribution before year‑end, please know that your generosity will touch and change lives with love, dignity and respect. Should you wish to discuss CSI funding, please reply to this letter and I will reach out personally to discuss your options.

With immense gratitude,

Danny Diliberto
