Children cannot be educated on an empty stomach and need nutritious food to grow, learn and play.
On Mandela Day our goal is to raise R5 million to nourish, nurture, and grow small children at Early Childhood Development Centres in impoverished communities.
Each volunteer ticket is R200 and will provide a child with 40 healthy meals.
Volunteering 67 minutes in service, means you will be making items to help grow the bodies and minds of small children.
Booking tickets for Ladles of Love Mandela Day events is easy. Whether you are an individual or a big group/corporate booking ALL tickets will be issued by the team at Webtickets.

Volunteer time slots start from 09h00 and last slot starts at 16h00.

There are 100+ volunteer tickets available per time slot, per city.
BIG IDEA: You can create your own team-building event by booking a time slot to volunteer together in one activation station.
If you are not in Johannesburg or Cape Town or would rather do a satellite event – you can create your own.
Create Your Own Volunteering Event:
5 easy steps:
1. Buy CYO event tickets via: www.webtickets.co.za at R200 donation that will provide 40 meals to a child in need in South Africa.
2. Then click on CYO button to register your event and within 48 hours you will receive a ‘how to guide’ with a detailed list of requirements to purchase for your activations.
3. On 18 July organise volunteers to spend 67 minutes making items in line with the guideline or come up with your own items.
4. Email us with details of how many volunteers and items were made, then attach images with captions for the auditor of our official world records.
5. Donate items to children in need or vulnerable people near you, or drop at your nearest Ladles of Love Warehouse in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
