With so much going on and constantly being on high alert to support the most vulnerable people in our communities, it is important that every quarter, we measure the impact of our work.
This week it gives us pride and pleasure to present the direct impact of our community programmes, the hard work of the beneficiary organisations we partner with and your incredibly generous support.
It is only through this collaborative way of driving social change that we can achieve the results we share with you today.
Ladles of Love has come so far in the last two years, having integrated and implemented monitoring, evaluation and learnings into our programmes management. We are now very strategic in our approach to nutrition and determined to address Child Food Poverty in South Africa, while also upskilling and uplifting women working in and running preschools in underserved communities.
During Covid-19 times and literally up until 2023, our mission was to pump food into communities and with your help, we undertook the massive job of delivering over 47 million meals. We realised this was not sustainable, government Covid funding dried up and we had to come to terms with the fact that SASSA grants were awarded to assist in hunger relief.
We believe we made the right decision to focus on food security and tailor our programmes to serve specific needs, and their qualitative impact speak for themselves. We invite you to take five minutes of your time to read and realise just what we have managed to achieve together.
