Giving ourselves, our time and resources, in service to others.
Love Activists are a volunteer force for good in our local communities. With thousands of dedicated, passionate volunteers across Cape Town and Johannesburg, we are able to impact positive change in our communities.
Our Love Activists – those who give of themselves, expecting nothing in return – show up at our programmes daily, from young to old, scholars, corporates, stay-at-home-parents. Our Love Activist programme gives people of all ages – from all walks of life – the opportunity to be part of something greater than themselves.

You are at the heart of everything we do
There are so many ways for you to be part of our community – from chopping and prepping hot meals at our Dignity Kitchen in Cape Town or Jozi, to making sandwiches or jars of hope at home. It’s thanks to people like you that we can reach so far and touch so many lives.
It’s our community of volunteers who donate their time to charity that keeps the wheels turning and our operational costs down, ensuring that the donations we receive deliver the maximum positive impact possible.
“You are our Love Activists – Anyone who gives of themselves and/or their resources in service to others”

If you don’t pass the safety assessment, you’ll not be permitted to volunteer with us at that time. PLEASE NOTE: All Ladles of Love volunteers must bring and wear their own facemask or they won’t be permitted to take part in any activity. All other equipment will be provided unless otherwise specified.
